Is it time to recalibrate? There must be a reason you popped over to this blog? Perhaps it is meant for you. Are you now making a conscious decision to answer the call of your Spirit and Soul? Is now the time to bring healing sounds into your wellbeing practice?

By setting a healing intention and with mindful purpose, you can tone yourself to improved health and wellness. Try humming more to bring positive vibrations into your body, much like cats purr themselves to wellness. Align and lift your energy higher with healing sounds. Maybe start with choosing to listen to soft classical music. Perhaps you would like to try listening to healing tones through quality headphones? I personally listen to and recommend:

You can find these sacred sounds on the Insight Timer app along with guided meditations such as my own “Animal Spirit Journey”. At times, you may prefer silence or a single tone or bell to meditate. At other times, softly spoken words may help you enter NOR (non-ordinary reality) or an ASC (altered state of consciousness). In these deeply relaxed states, your heartbeat slows and your breath deepens, allowing for healing to occur.

When we are stressed or anxious, we tighten or contract. Through relaxation techniques such as using sound frequencies and your positive intention, healing can begin. Other apps that offer a window into NOR or ASC are the Headspace and Calm apps. By clicking on the Headspace link, you gain a free month of meditations, courtesy of me, your Sound Therapist. Or you may find a meditation or ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) video on YouTube. I recommend Gentle Whispering or Whispers Red. Be willing to take the steps toward a New You, a more relaxed and adventurous you, who tries new things. This could be the way forward to a happier, healthier You.

And, if you have not already dipped your toe in a group Sound Bath, it is an easy way to start your meditation practice. As you sit or lie down fully clothed on a yoga mat, healing sounds from a gong, drum, chimes, singing bowls and soft vocal tones wash over you and through you.
